U said DA will become 28.80% After merging of 60.15% of DA with Basic Pay. But that is wrong because Present We are getting 0.15% of Basic per 1 slab of DA. But we are likely to get only 0.10% of DA after Settlement. So, Our DA will become 19.2% (28.80/0.15 X 0.10).

it will become 20,000 (DA 19% HRA around 7%) so the increase will be around 20% for starters

The starting bp for clerks in bank at present is 7200/+da,hra,cca not 8000/.8000/ bp is after two increments of graduation. II ly iba has agreed to merge 4440 points of da of 1/11/2011 ie 60.15% of that date rest da will b calculated @ .10 per slab of da.there is no quantam of increase 20-25% is agreed because the position of banks is not very good.It is also the case of officers. In SBI THEY r giving four increments in starting .I think the example given by babk cracker is for Bombay where hra is 10% not in delhi even.
