IBPS will conduct the IBPS RRB Office Assistant 2013 written exam on 21 September 2013 and 22 September 2013. IBPS had recently published the notification for the recruitment of IBPS RRB Office Assistant 2013.

There will be 5 sections in the question paper. Each section will carry 40 questions. All the questions will be of objective type.This will be a common written exam for various Regional Rural Banks across the country. However, a candidate can apply only in one state where he knows the local language.

IBPS RRB Office Assistant Clerk Exam Pattern and Syllabus:

Number of Questions in each section of IBPS RRB Office Assistant Exam 2013 will be 40.

1) Numerical Ability - 50 marks

2) Reasoning – 50 marks

3) English Language - 40 marks

4) Computer knowledge - 20 Marks

5) General Awareness - 40 marks.

Note : There will be penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score. If a question is left blank, i.e. no answer is marked by the candidate; there will be no penalty for that question.

CUT OFF SCORE

Each candidate will have to secure a minimum standard score in each of the tests and also on the Total Weighted Standard Score. The cut-off points to qualify in each of the tests will be decided based on the average (Average – ¼ Standard Deviation for General category candidates and Average – ¾ Standard Deviation for Reserved Category candidates).
