UPSC SCRA Exam 2014 will be conducted to recruit the
qualified candidates on the Special Class Apprentices in Mechanical Department of
Indian Railways. For this concern UPSC has published a Notification for
Recruitment examination.
UPSC conducts SCRA Special Class Railway Apprentices exam
every year and lakhs of candidates give this exam.
The candidates who want to apply for the Examination then,
he / she may apply through filling the online application form till the last
date.

Total No of Vacancies: 42
Age Limit: The age of the candidates should be between 17–
21. The Relaxation will be provided according the Govt. rules.
Education Qualification: Candidates must have passed in the
first or second division, the Intermediate or an equivalent Examination of a
University or Board with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics
and Chemistry as subjects of the examination. Graduates with Mathematics and at
least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as their degree subjects.
Application Fee: The appliers will have to pay Rs.100 as the
application fee. The application fee should be paid by cash or internet banking
in the respective branches of SBI.
Selection Procedure: The candidates will be selected on the
basis of their performance in written examination and Interview.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates may apply online through
the website www.upsconline.nic.in from 05-10-2013 to 04-11-2013. After
submission of Online Application candidates must take the print out of
application form and keep it safe for further reference/use.
