Union Public Service Commission invited applications for CAPF
Assistant Commandants Competitive Examination 2013. The examination will be
conducted for Assistant Commandants in Central Aremed Police Force (CAPF) for
the vacancy year 2013.
UPSC will conduct Assistant Commandant Recruitment Exam on 20th October,
2013.

Age Limit: Age must be between 20 years to 25 years.
Educational Qualification: Candidate must have a Bachelor
Degree from a recognized University or Institute.
Candidates having professional and technical qualifications
recognized by the government are also eligible for the examination.
Application Fee: All SC/ST and female candidates are not
liable to pay any application fee. All OBC and General Category candidates have
to pay full prescribed application fee i.e. 200 rupees.
Selection Procedure: UPSC CPF Selection Procedure is as
follows:
Written Examination: Written Examination will be conducted
by the Union Public Service Commission on 20th October 2013. There are Two
Papers in this examination.
Paper- I: General Ability and Intelligence- This paper will
consist of 250 marks. Questions in this examination will be based on General
Ability and of objective type. Question papers will be set in English as well
as in Hindi also.
Paper-II: General Studies, Comprehension and Essay writing:
this paper will consist of 200 marks. In this paper candidates have two choices
in essay writing in Hindi or in English. But other paper like comprehension etc
will be in English only.
Physical Standards Test and Medical Standards Test: Candidates
who qualified the written examination will be called for Physical Efficiency
and Medical Test.
Important Dates:
Starting date of receipt of application: 6th July 2013.
Last date of receipt of application: 5th August 2013.
Date of Examination: 20th October 2013.
