The 21st Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN)
Summit opened in Phnom Penh on Sunday(18
th 0f Nov.2012),the capital
city of Cambodia.
Prime Minister of Cambodia Hun Sen, the rotating chair of
ASEAN this year, presided over the summit under the theme "One
Community, One Destiny".
The summit is expected to tackle issues like current
economic uncertainties that the world is facing.
According to Hun Sen, realizing ASEAN Community by 2015
should remain top priority of ASEAN.
ASEAN summit founded
in 1967 and the group countries are Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos,
Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
