2.Nobel Prize in Physiology or
Medicine 2012:
British Scientist Sir John B. Gurdon and Japan’s Shinya Yamanaka won 2012 nobel prize award in medicine for the discovery that mature cells can be reprogrammed to become
pluripotent.
3.2012 Nobel Prize for peace :
European Union (EU) won the nobel prize for peace for over six
decades contribution to the advancement of peace and reconciliation, democracy
and human rights in Europe.
4.Nobel Prize in Chemistry 2012:
Robert J. Lefkowitz and Brian K. Kobilka,researchers from US
have been awarded for this award.They won this award for studies of
G-protein-coupled receptors.
5. Nobel Prize in Literature 2012:
Chinese author Mo Yan
has been named the winner of the 2012 Nobel prize for literature.While awarding
the prize the academy described Mo Yan as a writer "who with hallucinatory
realism merges folk tales, history and the contemporary"
6. Nobel Prize in Economy 2012:
American economists Alvin E. Roth and Lloyd S. Shapley won
the nobel prize award in economics for the ‘theory of stable allocations and
the practice of market design’.
