LIC AAO Exam Syllabus and Paper Pattern

LIC will conduct examination for Assistant Administrative Officer (AAO) in the month of May 2013. You can see the official notification by clicking on the link LIC AAO Recruitment 2013.

Name of post: : Assistant Administrative Officer (AAO)
Qualification: Bachelor/ Master’s Degree

LIC will soon publish admit card or hall ticket. All candidates wait for their admit card and Download admit card from official website in first week of May, 2013.

Selection Procedure :
Selection will be made on the basis of performance in the on-line test followed by a personal interview of short listed candidates and subsequent Pre-Recruitment Medical Examination.

LIC AAO Syllabus: 
The online exam will consists 160 question of 400 marks of aptitude test which cover following subjects:

Study material for LIC AAO Exam:
1) General Knowledge
2) Current Affairs
3) Computer Knowledge


On-line test will be of objective type, multiple choices of 120 minutes (2 hrs) duration.

Interview Section: Candidates who will clear the written examination will go for the personal interview round in 1:3 ratio.


Penalty for Wrong Answers:
There will be a penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate, one fourth (1/4 )  of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score. If a question is left blank, i.e. no answer is marked by the candidate, there will be no penalty for that question.

Candidate MUST pass in each Section separately and should also obtain minimum marks in the aggregate to qualify for the interview. The minimum marks to be obtained in each Section and in the aggregate shall be decided by LIC of India.
