A.  1100
B.  1200
C.  1300
D.  1400

ANSWERS:

1) Answer:  D

Explanation:
Required percentage= [(145 - 108)/108 * 100]%
= 34.26%
 ≈34%.

2) Answer: C

Explanation:
The total sales (in thousands) of all the seven years for various MOBILES are:
For 1100 = 75 + 90 + 96 + 105 + 90 + 105 + 115 = 676
For 1200= 144 + 126 + 114 + 90 + 75 + 60 + 85 = 694
For 1300 = 114 + 102 + 75 + 150 + 135 + 165 + 160 = 901
For 1400 = 102 + 84 + 105 + 90 + 75 + 45 + 100 = 601
For 1500 = 108 + 126 + 135 + 75 + 90 + 120 + 145 = 799.
Clearly, sales are maximum in case of 1300 mobiles.

3) Answer: D

Explanation:
Required difference = [(84 - 45) * 1000] = 39000.

4) Answer: D

Explanation:
The percentages of sales of 1100 MOBILES to the total sales in different years are:
For 1992 =(75/543 * 100)% = 13.81%.
For 1993 =(90/528 * 100)% = 17.05%.
For 1994 =(96/525 * 100)% = 18.29%.
For 1995 =(105/510 * 100)% = 20.59%.
For 1996 =(96/465 * 100)% = 19.35%.
For 1997 =(105/495 * 100)% = 21.21%.
For 1998 =(115/605 * 100)% = 19.01%.
Clearly, the percentage is maximum in 1997.

5) Answer: B

Explanation:
From the table it is clear that the sales of 1100 MOBILES have been decreasing continuously from 1992 to 1997.
